    Wow! Liz was marvelous—is marvelous. And the session was really enjoyable, smart, dynamic, free ranging. It felt like a really vibrant overall session, with lots of people chiming in. The thinking took interesting turns that provided food for thought: Henry’s comment about prose as a (post)postcolonial medium surprised me; the talk of line and sentence intrigued me; the division between prose and verse is one that’s so overworked in French poetry that I’m always surprised when there’s a new thing to say about it. I loved hearing Susan rejoice over Liz’s lines, WW w/TX in my mouth, and the wall of air was like a lift off the ground. I was, in fact, floating merrily after the session.
